Every mother and child needs access to compassionate, consistent, and affordable healthcare - yet for too many families in our community, that is not the reality.
What We’ve Accomplished So Far
Secured Our Medical Space: We have identified and obtained the location to house Breath of Life’s OB/GYN and pediatric services. It is strategically placed in Horry County to serve underserved communities.
Built a Leadership Team: Under the direction of founders Carter and Jeannie Smith, we have assembled a medical advisory team of licensed medical professionals.
Initiated Care Models: We are researching and developing faith-based, affordable care models carefully designed to provide high-quality OB/GYN and pediatric services accessible and rooted in dignity and compassion.
Moving Onward: These are powerful first steps, but there is much to do in order to fully open the clinic by January 2026.
What We Need to Launch January 2026
$30,000 in startup funds to outfit our facility with essential medical equipment, exam room furnishings, IT systems, and supplies.
Monthly Partners to help provide for our operating costs, including professional staff, medical supplies, and service fees, to care for uninsured or underinsured patients.
Medical Professionals to join our healthcare team - Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Specialists.
Prayer and Advocacy to provide this ministry with spiritual support and help spread the word to churches, businesses, and individuals who want to invest in kingdom-minded, life-giving healthcare.
